ABOUT Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore

Father Muller Medical College is a unit of Fr. Muller's Charitable Institutions, a Registered Society sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Mangalore; a Religious Minority Educational Institution established primarily for the benefit of the members of the Christian Community.The Postgraduate courses MD/MS/Diploma were started in the year 1991 and the Under graduate course - MBBS was started in the year 1999.Like all other Educational Institution under Catholic auspices it is open to all persons irrespective of religion, caste or community.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited Father Muller Medical College with an 'A' grade, making it the first medical college under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences,Bangalore, to be so accredited.Also the undergraduate and postgraduate degrees awarded at Fr Muller Medical College under RGUHS, Karnataka, is recognized and approved by MCI, New Delhi. This indeed is a milestone in the life of the college and is fitting reward for the hard and honest work of the staff under the dynamic leadership of the Dean, Administrator and for the relentless efforts of the management to build a premier institution to impart value-based medical education.

01. MBBS | 4.5 Years + (1 Year Internship is Compulsory)

INDIAN NATIONALS

• Candidate should have passed 12th standard, should have obtained 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (taken together) and should have passed English as one of the subjects.
• The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
FOREIGN NATIONALS, NON-RESIDENT INDIANS AND PEOPLE OF INDIAN ORIGIN

• The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on the31st December of the year of admission
• Candidate should have passed 12th standard (or equivalent) and should have obtained 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (taken together)
• Should have passed English as one of the subjects.
• 15% of the total admissions each year (23 seats)
• Should have documents to prove their NRI/FOREIGN status (E.g. passport, work permit, school certificate, etc.)
• Inward remittance certificate from the Reserve Bank of India.

Should have the eligibility certificate from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS) to pursue medical education programs in the state of Karnataka.


ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE :

All the seats, including NRI/Management quota, are allotted by merit through online counselling conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority ( kea.kar.nic.in )

Selection is based on the rank obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) conducted on an all India basis by the National Board Examination.
